U15s Gearing Up For LIME Youth Championships/WAD

Youngsters will meet again during the LIME Youth Championships & World Athletics Day celebrations

APRIL 30—The territory’s top 16 U15 athletes in each event are gearing up for the May 2-3, LIME Youth Track & Field Championships which will also mark activities for World Athletics Day.

Session I of the Championships kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at the A. O. Shirley Recreation Grounds and continues with Session II on at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday with Session III slated for 4 p.m.

U15 athletes with the top 16 time coming from such competitions as the Inter Primary Zonal competitions, the Inter Primary Championships and the Elmore Stoutt High School Inter House Sports Day, have been invited to compete in these championships.

The top three in each event will receive medals compliments of LIME. The meet is also being used to select athletes for upcoming U15 competitions.

There will be stiff competition across the board in all events, as evidenced from the various competitions during the early part of the season leading up to the Inter Primary Championships.
