Pipe Is Piping Hot In VG College Classic Series Finale

OCTOBER 28—Maxford Pipe sowed up his seventh Highland Spring College Classic Series title on Virgin Gorda, as the season came to close there with another victory in the bag.

Pipe an all rounder who helped the Sugar Boys to the Wendol “Poto” Williams Knockout Cup two weekends ago, had a winning time of 11 minutes and 10 seconds to easily sow up the Virgin Gorda leg of the series which continues on Tortola on Saturday.

Pipe was also victorious in the inaugural Virgin Gorda Half Marathon in May.

Although J’Sally O’Neal ran 15:36 to win the finale, Casey McNutt claimed her second overall crown after running 16:04 for the runner’s up spot behind O’Neal.
