TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The MSU Lady Bears track team had a successful weekend at the FSU Relays on the campus of Florida State University.
 
Britney Wattley continued her solid season with two top ten finishes and she anchored the 4x400m relay team. The junior placed fifth in the 200m dash with a time of 24.52, and recorded an eighth place finish in the 100m dash in a time of 11.98. 
 
Wattley would also be a part of the women's 4x400m relay team that finished second in a time of  3:45.27.  Senior Kamice Smalls and sophomores Teyanna Green and Ekundayo Sogbesan combined for the rest of the 4x400m relay team.
 
Senior Tyshia Oliver would also record a top ten finish by posting eighth place with a time of 2:15.05 in the 800m run. 

Junior Monae Waller won the collegiate division high jump for the Bears with a best of 1.73m (5'8").  
 
There were several other top 10 finishes in the FSU Relays.  The Lady Bears relay team of Tyshia Oliver, Manae Waller, Sianna Wynter and Danielle Calhoun, took seventh place in the 4x400m relay in 3:51.92.  Teyana Green also took eighth place in the 200m dash, in a time of 24.59.  Ranita Mealer placed third in the shot put with a toss of 14.51m, and Jeanelle Ovid took ninth place in the high jump at 1.58m.
