Philomena "Philo" Robertson was the 1st woman to cross the line in the race on Virgin Gorda
JANUARY 30—The second race of the 2013 Dive BVI 5K Series, will be held this Saturday, Feb 2, starting at 6:30 a.m. from the HLSCC Campus on Virgin Gorda.
The course takes runners from the HLSCC parking lot out to Guaberry Bay Villas and return.
Emrol Amsterdam and Philomena “Philo” Roberston were the respective male and female winners of race one, which attracted 67 participants.
For persons from Tortola interested in competing in Saturday’s race, Speedy’s ferry departs Trellis Bay at 6.00 a.m. on Saturday. The one way fare is $20.
