Lakeisha Warner Wins Austin Sealy Classic 400m

 

Lakeisha "Mimi" Warner, has established personal bests in the 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and 3000m this season 

MAY 13—Lakeisha “Mimi” Warner ran a 400m personal best to lead four Sprint Tech Track Club athletes and the 4x100m Relay squad to victory on Day 1 of the Austin Sealy Classic in Barbados.

Warner took the Under 17 Girls 400m in 56.52 seconds, after running 56.67 in the prelims, to lower her personal best from 57.01 and climbed to No. 9 on the Women’s All Time Listing.

Taylor Hill posted a time of 12.38 seconds to win the Under 17 Girls 100m, after running 12.76 in the prelims.

Tashara Edwards snatched the Under 11 Girls 100m when she crossed the line in 14.50 seconds.

The 4 x 100m relay quartet of Jonel Lacey, Tarika “Tinker Bell” Moses, Taylor Hill, and Warner, won the Under 17 Girls 4x100m Relay in 48.26 seconds, 04 off the fastest time posted this season by the Carifta Games Under 17 squad of 48.22.

In field events, L’Tisha Fahie won the Under 15 Girls Long Jump with a leap of 4.69m.
