Rivalries will be renewed when the 2012 College Classic Series kicks off on Sept 15
SEPTEMBER 6—The 17th Highland Spring College Race Series kick off the 2012 season at the HLSCC Campus in Paraquita Bay, on Saturday, September 15, on Tortola.
There will be four races through November 10.
“We are excited about this annual event that brings the community together for fun, healthy wholesome exercise mixed with a bit of competition,” race director Stephanie Russ Penn said. “We are looking to see all our regular participants and we look forward to welcoming new participants as well. We are also looking forward to the Virgin Gorda leg.”
Other races on Tortola are scheduled for September 29, October 13 (race for a cause) and 10 November.
The Virgin Gorda leg of the series—which has three races—begins on September 22. Other races are on October 6 and the finale on October 26, their race for a cause.
