NOVEMBER 26—It was yet another golden moment for the territory. Chantel Malone extended the British Virgin Islands’ Central American and Caribbean Games’ gold medal streak to four straight when she landed at the top of the Long Jump pile in Xalapa, Mexico, during the 22nd edition of the event on Tuesday afternoon. She also became the first in a field event after three medals in the short sprint.

NOVEMBER 10—A resurgent Steven Asson—who overcame recurrent back problems that caused him to quit running at one time before a low key return to racing once again—ended two and a half years of frustration by overhauling this two early leading opponents to win the Ceres Juices 10K Series finale on Saturday afternoon.

OCTOBER 13— Repeating their success from the Beef Island 10k earlier in the road racing season, Julius Farley and tender teenager Tallulah Kinkead led a fast field in Saturday’s Ceres Juices 10K Series tour stop at Trellis Bay, Beef Island.  Dubbed the “Steel Man Warm up” the course comprised three laps of the Eastern tip of Beef Island over rolling terrain.
